Double Blind Test
After a professional mediator is conned by identical twin businessmen who hired her to resolve a dispute, she meets another woman in a suspiciously similar circumstance, and the two team up to take down the con artists.
Synopsis:
On her way to negotiate a settlement between two high-tech companies, professional mediator Tracy Shepard meets Fischer Cuttbate who is in a dispute of his own with his identical twin, Fletcher. Tracy learns that the Cuttbate brothers are developing a drug for a rare eye disease – one that also afflicts Tracy’s father. When Tracy meets Fletcher he reveals his concern that Fischer is cooking the books to cheat him. Tracy doesn’t know what to believe until she learns Fletcher has called in the FBI and that Fischer is on the lam. Fletcher confides in Tracy that he has the formula – hidden from Fischer – for a superior product to the one Fischer was developing. When Fletcher indicates he needs working capital to proceed with the drug Tracy enthusiastically invests in him. Within the month, Tracy discovers she has been conned. Underwhelmed by the prowess of law enforcement Tracy initiates an investigation leading back to the high-tech companies for whom she was working the day she met Fischer. There she encounters a female executive involved in a situation suspiciously similar to her own. Convinced that the executive is about to be scammed by the same people who conned her, Tracy enlists the help of the woman and together they serve up a dish of revenge.

The Stooper
When a lowly racetrack stooper bungles a scam on a vicious gambler who torments him relentlessly, he struggles with the help of the gambler's ex-girlfriend to regain his dignity and recover what is rightfully his.
Synopsis:
Downtrodden Larry Greco discovers a way to supplement his meager income as a diner dishwasher: stooping for discarded tickets at the racetrack, hoping to find a few winners in the bunch. Life could be tolerable if not for the regular torment from Vic Schuyler – Vic the Prick – a thuggish gambler who despises Larry. One day, Larry wins $70,000, and although he suddenly has enough money to escape the twin scourges of dishwashing and stooping, he is compelled to screw over Vic the Prick in a scam using the lottery ticket as bait. Larry blows the scam and winds up in a hospital – thanks to Vic – where he meets Maddie, a nurse’s aide who was once Vic’s main squeeze. Just before Larry is set to be discharged from the hospital, Vic discovers Larry is still alive and has something of value that he wants. Larry, having gained the confidence that eluded him in the past, intercedes bravely. He recovers the item, saves Maddie and leaves Vic the Prick in a heap of trouble.
